WHO WE ARE NOW: Joplin One Year Later focuses on how this southwest Missouri town is redefining itself, developing a new spirit of collaboration as it also rebuilds the landscape following an EF5 tornado in May 2011. This documentary shows the efforts of organizations and health providers in this “new” Joplin to create better ways of working together to build a healthier community.

Awesome movie! One really gets the sense of what it was actually like being there as the tornado struck, as well as how far the community has progressed, and how much further they still have to go in completely (if possible) recovering and healing from this disaster. Great interviews to show how personal this episode in their lives is, and how they are coping individually, as well as collectively to rebuild their lives and their city. Great job!
